Well got it done.

1st brew bottled, a Coopers dark ale. I kept strictly to the script and followed the instructions to the letter. Unfortunately the hydrometer that was supplied in the kit I bought was broken when I came to use it just prior to putting the yeast in, so I'll never know how strong this grog is. Got that 1st lot bottled and in the same operation got everything cleaned out and the 2nd one on the go, a Coopers Stout. It does not get anymore exciting!

There was a drop left (well about 3.5 pints) so what was one to do...

I drank it, and it was lush.

I've got to wait a couple of weeks (or do I?) for things to condition in the bottles.

Well done. It is best to build up a stock, it stops you drinking them too early ;)

To condition you will ned to leasve them somewhere warm for a couple of weeks then somewhere cooler for at least a couple of weeks. Of course you will have to carry out quality control during that period ;) just not too much
