1st Beer brew advice

[Seven.]

New to brewing and I’ve got a couple of wines on the go but fancy trying an Irish stout , As above it’s my first beer brew so I’m thinking I’d be safer with a kit rather than boiling grain and hops but open to advice or recommendations on the best kit to use . Thanks in advance

Get comfortable with kits and then move onto AG

I've started with AG straight away, it's not a rocket science.

Google Ditch’s stout pretty foolproof modified kit and very drinkable, plus you don’t need all the kit for all grain.

Each to their own, I started with mangrove jack's kits and am dipping my toes into all grain.
Greg hughes book is really useful as is Emma Christensens brew better. Whilst he book is very American, she has 1 gallon recipes which is useful for making that jump without investing in lots of equipment

Go for a premium kit - Festival London Porter is good.

I do both - I reckon every 5th or 6th brew is AG, with kits in between - trick with kits is conditioning - I leave mine in my barrels for at least a month before I touch them.
