I usually buy these , but they’ve been out of stock for weeks and I’m on my last cartridge.

Any recommendations for good quality, low price capsules? I was thinking of these1 but was hoping someone else had used them. They are almost twice the price of co2cartridges but , other than one with loads of negative reviews on Facebook, it seems to be the next cheapest.

Slightly more expensive but if you buy a big box they are a decent price per cartridge. I came across them while searching for N2O which they also sell under the ice cream section.

Have you used them before? I’ve seen them in the past, but have always been put off by the fact that around a quarter of their reviews on Facebook are 1 star (only out of 16, and all the others are 5 star but it still made me think twice about using them).

I’ve ordered the eBay ones this morning.

Any feedback on why a 1 star. Surely these are all made the same.

Those cream chargers are what all the kids are using to get high

I haven't bought them yet but I'd bookmarked the page. Like Leon I pretty much assume they are all the same just sold by different people.

Yeh I see the nitro ones strewn around the streets on Saturday and Sunday mornings, presumably people using them as a high.

Yep, but I don’t want to discount the possibility that the youth of south west London are just avid ice cream makers or drinking stout from mini kegs on street corners....

Those cartridges are nitrous oxide I.e. laughing gas. Stouts or Guinness use nitrogen and co2 mix

That's what's called beer gas right? Didn't realise it was pure nitrogen mixed with co2, I thought it was nitrous oxide. Every days a school day

I'm assuming that you're using these to pressurize kegs ????

If they're getting harder to get hold of could you not change the value in the lid to accept the Hambleton Bard cylinders instead.

I use these on by KKTT pressure barrels and one cylinder will last me ages (1 year +) as it's only really needed to squeeze the last four or five pints out of the keg.

I know they appear a bit pricey but at least you can control how much gas you use, maybe could last longer than the single shot bulb.

Does the party star take either threaded or unthreaded?

I don’t know, couldn’t find info on whether either my devices (I use the Klarstein far more, but the PSD is fine in winter when I can chill the keg outside) would take threaded so didn’t want to risk it. My usual website has loads of threaded in stock.

Mick, I’ve used these a few times before, website looks very similar to your usual one....

They have plenty in stock
