I use Quidco frequently but I'll only use it after I've found what I'm after. You should shop around first and find out if the kit is cheaper elsewhere.

Not all cashback is tracked, I bought a phone on Black Friday from a Chinese store that never showed up.

I use a separate browser for my Quidco tranactions.

Indeed but never had problems with Wilko. Got about £180 back this year through (amongst other things) changing phone and utilities to cheaper contracts. Most of it converted to Amazon giftcards to pay for Christmas!
