Yes, sounds like a plan. 2l is the biggest I can do, should be enough. Thank you.

Yeast Harvesters, have I got enough here?

Hi all. Not done this before but harvested the yeast from a pils I just bottled and want to pitch this into another 23l batch of 5% lager. Question is, have I harvested enough here?

Ginger in Beer (not Ginger Beer).

Hi all, Thinking of doing an Orange Witbier next, and also thought a hint of ginger would be good in it. Anyone used root ginger in the boil before? I've read that as little as 10-15g (finely chopped) at the end of the boil can come through in the final beer, I just want it to be there...

    Klarstein Füllhorn Mash kettle

Thanks all. Much appreciated. I don't BIAB, the grain would be in there loose. So would I have any issues with sticking on the element/bottom if I'm purely mashing in it (and boiling in another kettle) in your experience? Presumably not at mash temperatures and with the false bottom too.

AG Brew Day #9 Raspberry Ale

This turned out better than I hoped. Everyone loved it who tried it at Christmas, and it scooped the beer of the month at our Homebrew club! Nice red tint to it, with a pinkish head and just enough raspberry flavour to be able to taste it while complementing the malt but not overpowering it...

AG Brew Day #9 Raspberry Ale

Bottled it today. Lovely red colour to it, dregs in bottling bucket tasted nicely of Raspberry but not too much. Indebted to Poochops and JFB for the advice on upping the amount of Raspberries. Cheers! Boiled up some muslin and a rubber band and put over the end of my syphon, then sanitised...
