    reduced items at boyes

Be a shame if they did stop, they have a good range and the prices are good on a lot of it. They sell wherry for 18 quid which is only bettered when wilkos have sale on i reckon. They do milestone kits for 20 which is 2 or 3 quid cheaper than most too :thumb:

    reduced items at boyes

Just watch out for big vinny dropping the soap in the shower :D and you wont have to share a cell with ken barlow now. They asked him if he took girls into the toilet at granada and he replied " no, but i took an escort into kevs garage for a touch up"

    reduced items at boyes

popped into boyes today and they have a few bits on offer, like 33ltr white buckets @ £5.60 which are ideal as secondary fv's or bottling buckets. I also picked up coopers brew enhancer 1 & 2 @ £3.00 each too. They had coopers dark ale for a tenner too! Worth a look if you have boyes in your area.

    Clear bottles

Ah i see. You would think it would be simpler to use brown, but i guess some breweries like you to see the colour of the beer. I have been buying bottled beer to build up stocks and some are simply awful! hope my efforts are better

I have noticed loads of ales being sold in clear glass recently. How are they doing it? Some sort of filtration maybe?

    advice for newbie needed please

Hi all, I am just getting into brewing and would like to make small batches to begin with, so as to get used to sanitising, bottling etc. My question is could I get a one can kit and make it up to 10 litres or so with no extra fermentables? would it be over hopped as it is meant to be diluted to...
