Completely agree. For me it should be lighter in colour and body and dare I say a little earthy and dry too? I was wondering if my recollection was playing tricks. But as you say, very nice nevertheless.

We have done a few Cantina and the whites are good enough although more recently on another thread I commented that the sweet spot might be the On The House for a Chardonnay for example. I couldn't rate any reds in this range and more generally at this price point. Just my opinion though.

Yes. I have the Winexpert Tempranillo just started last week so it will be bottled in 3 weeks or so. Will be interesting to compare notes.

Maybe they had all the instructions printed and didn't want to admit it's a mistake. If the CD instructions are the best method, then that implies the rest of the Muntons instructions are inferior. 😮 Anyway, as John1664 says, it won't matter anymore. One of my go to kits but there are plenty more.

I go by 10-14 days fv temp roughly controlled + weeks/months in the bottle temp less controlled. If they were still cloudy in the bottle after 2 weeks, probably expecting too much for chilling to solve the time problem. But hey, first brew, exciting and you sound impressed so congrats...

I have never had a cloudy beer after a month or more in the bottle. It would just be a guess but I think that yours were possibly chilled too soon and hadn't completely finished priming. During the warming up process maybe something restarted? Joking apart, why did you put them in the fridge...
