i think ive answered my own question here coz i think ive solved the problem, as a marine fish keeper i had a spare d\d diagphram pump..[ebay] and a canister clear housing wiith a 1 micron filter [ebay] i attached this up and sucked the wine through the pump through the filter housing then...

ive seen on forums in usa abt home made filters using a pump and water cannister filter [1 micron ], any one tried this

my vinebrite doesnt seem to be clearing my wine it actually looks cloudier, i cant suck wine to syhon thro the vent i hav to hlod outake n sck hard to start it off, the wine doest come up vent so guessing its a pressure problem ,,but the the inside is screwed tight with key,,any suggestions

ive just put a starter in of this ec 1118 with 100g of sugar and its took of like a rocket , froth n bubbles,,will see how it goes

update, i took whole batch n boiled it , incase of preservatives added new yeast and bubbles now bit more frequent but not much . no frothing on surface, reading 1070 but ive acquired ec 1118 yeast for stuck fermentation, can i add tht to kick start it? ive also gt apple and sultana ...
