    Muntons Premium Gold Cider...?

Really? Well I do hope this is worth it. :hmm:

    Milestone Black Pearl....?

Apparently some say it's rather a porter than a stout. Anyone tried this one yet, another into the fermenter today! :)

    Muntons Premium Gold Cider...?

Just went into the fermenter today. Anyone tried this one yet? Certainly thicker in body than the other cider kits I've tried and only makes thirty pints. It better be good, cost me £26.00!

    Brewferm Grand Cru...?

I remember doing the Diablo, very pleasing results! :) Hope the Triple turns out well. I'll give this one a go too, some time later in the year.

    Morgan's Stockman's Draught....?

It is a single tin kit. Usually I but the double tin kits, Woodforde's ect. But I have to say this isn't a bad one. I made a short brew and added slightly more sugar. Yeah, Morgan's like other Australian homebrew companies make quite a few beer kits. So far I'd say Mogan's Cortes Cerveza is a...

    Recommend a Lager kit...?

Ok, I'll steer clear of the Munton's kit then. Never tried the Brewferm Pils, did the Gold, it was ok nothing too special. I've done Coopers European Lager, turned out pretty good. :) Did you condition the European Lager at single figure temperatures? i.e in the fridge?

    Recommend a Lager kit...?

I've tried Cooper's Mexican Cerveza, it was good but the ultimate is Morgan's Cortes Cerveza for me. Has a wonderful hint of lime with it plus it's closer to the taste of Corona if that's you thing. :thumb:

    quick brewferm kit

Yeah, does seem the stronger Brewferm kits are the better ones. I've greatly enjoyed all the ones mentinoed above. May well make the leap to A.G. this year. Just need the motivation!

    Brewferm Grand Cru...?

I'd certainly say that I've been quite impressed with most of the Brewferm kits so far. Although the more potent kits seem to be the better ones.

    A home brewers dream!

So it's ready within 24 hours or less?

    quick brewferm kit

I've done quite a few of the Brewferm kits, I can't remember having an issue with the instructions. Reasonably sure the O.G. has been pretty close. Then again I've not tried Abbey...yet.

    Morgan's Stockman's Draught....?

Just wondered if anyone else had tried this one? I have, just coming the last pint in the barrel. I'd say for single malt tin kit it wasn't half bad. Ok, nothing in the realms of a Woodforde's or St. Peter's kit but in it's own right, rather good. Kind of any oakey taste to it, a pretty regular...

    Recommend a Lager kit...?

Ok, it's been a while since I last posted on this topic. So while I've been away has anyone got any more lager kits to recommend?

    Brewferm Grand Cru...?

Brewed back in Decmeber. This is DEFINATELY worth the wait. I've just opened a bottle five mins back, drinking it now. :drink: A very good representation of a Belgium Cru beer. I find it smooth, slightly caramelly, certainly sweet, good body and mild aroma. The best thing about it is the...

    Brewferm Framboos....?

I'd agree, the aroma before drinking is superb! :thumb: But alas the taste certainly isn't as pleasant as the smell beforehand. Don't get wrong it does taste of raspberrys, just not enough. :(

    BlackRock Cider...?

From memory (and due to the amount home brew consumed I've not much left :| ) I wouldn't say this tastes quite like Magners. You'd be better off with Magnum Elderflower Cider, it REALLY IS very good! :drink: :drink:

    Brewferm Framboos....?

Thanks for the tasting notes. Do you find it resembles anything like some of the Belgian fruit beers? Or in fact anything else?

    Brewferm Framboos....?

This one is going into to the fermenter tonight. Anyone tried it yet....?

    Milestone Lion's Pride...?

All done and drunk (me included!) :drink: :drink: :drink: Ideally would suit being slightly chilled. I've being drinking it at room temp, it's ok but you can tell it'd be worth placing it in a colder area. Neveretheless it's good enough. Hop balance isn't quite to my taste but it's...

    Brewferm Gallia....?

...and so as with Old Flemisch Brown this too has been left a while. Though unfortunately I can't speak as highly of the Gallia as I can the Old Brown. At room temp just like the Old Brown, forget it, doesn't work. At a chilled temp it's much the same but this is due to sediment lifting. I've...
