    Yes, fermented in the keg for 6 days now, the distructions said about 5-12 days depending on the tempreture and as its not roasting in the kitchen I thought Id leave it for the full 12 days to ferment, then transfer into the outside shed to clear.     When I got my brewing kit I didnt get a brewing bucket, just the keg (king keg) so just to be on the safe side I'll see if I can find one today. This is the first time Ive done cider, just normally done ale. When I released some it seemed quite fizzy, is that right?

    Hi Guys Wondering if you could help. For Christmas I got a Samsons Cider Brewing Kit and 1kg of brewing sugar. The instructions for the kit is to use 1.5kg of sugar so was wondering what would happen if i only used 1kg? Thanks in advance and happy new year! Paul
