What minimum equipment for 1st AG brew

This You can buy the boiler/mash tun or make one your self. You will then be able to brew any style from grain and it's a great way to start. If you progress you will still require what you have made/purchased which is important, it doesn't become obsolete.

    Best quality threaded disconnects?

Hi, I have never seen a disconnect that can't be taken apart, it should really be part of a cleaning regime. I wouldn't use Vaseline as it may actually shorted the life of the O rings, right lube for the right occasion;) Use something silicone based. The kegland original disconnects are nice...

    Pluto gun vs party tap

They are fine if you take the handle off the Oxebar keg. But, the handle is handy!

    Serving from fermenter

I don't ever prime kegs, simply force carb and serve with CO2.

    Serving from fermenter

No problem with short filling 2, they will be perfect.

    Serving from fermenter

By doing that you are almost certain to oxidise the beer. If you had another pressure vessel you could transfer the beer between them both oxygen free. The Oxebar 20 / 8 / 4 litre kegs would be ideal. Be a shame to go through the process of brewing and the beer to be spoilt.

    Are CamLocks safe?

Hey, It is not user error, the cam locks you are using don't have the safety locking pins. These are ok to use in a situation where you don't get pulsing, such as a valve on a kettle however, on a pump they will, or can work loose. Choose the camlocks with locking pins to be sure that they will...

    Pluto gun vs party tap

Well yes, or I wouldn't have suggested itathumb... Actually, I was using a party tap myself just because it was easier at home so know exactly the problems that can occur. With a Bronco style tap it is extremely difficult to regulate any flow, they really need to be open or closed. Dispense...

    Pinter for all grain…

The problem is you are going to introduce a load of Oxygen when you reattach the doc, you will hear it bubble through the beer and it will make you cry!

    Pinter for all grain…

You can put the hops in a bag, but how you going to get them out? A big advantage of the PINTER is being able to remove the trub.

    Pinter for all grain…

Hello, Just to cover off a few points. Firstly, we had no contact whatsoever with PINTER, we purchased the unit directly from the PINTER website, it wasn't sent for free. For those that want to brew smaller batches, test different yeasts, hop combos etc the unit has been excellent. Added to...

    Kettle colour

I wouldn't cook my family's diner in it, i wouldn't brew beer in it. I would give it a clean so it came up brand new, not difficult do with various different chemicals that are easily available.
