Just to update... Added more priming sugar and fitted new cap and valve.. happy to say it is now getting carbonation. I am very happy! Thanks guy's

Thanks, it's a shame because even though it's flat it tastes pretty good from the small sample I have taken testing if there is any carbonation.

Thanks for your help... I will try and prime it again with sugar.. the new cap and valve should be here tomorrow anyway. Just don't want to waste 40 pints of beer.

Hi Guy's Looking for some help / suggestions on saving a PB full of Wherry that has been in the barrel for 2 weeks and is flat as a pancake! I have realised that it is leaking from the valve on the cap. It's a second hand barrel and I know I should have maybe checked it over properly before...

Afternoon, I have just purchased a couple of used kegs from a chap on Facebook and have just realised that 2 of the PB valves dont have a centre piercing pin on them? I have a King Geg which has a pin on so not sure if this is correct or they are missing the pins? Maybe it's a different vale to...

Just a quick update, added the hops this evening and did a Hydrometer reading OG was 1058 now 1020 5 days later so I think it's fine?

Thanks all... My brew has been going about 48hrs but not seeing any gurgling yet from the water lock? Am I too impatient? I can see froth building on top though.

Hi all, Just wanted to say hello, I've been lurking around the threads for a couple of weeks reading and gaining some knowledge. I am a first time Brewer and went for the Love Brewing Luxury kit with the King Keg and Golden Rocket IPA. Started the brew yesterday so lets see how it goes :)
