What minimum equipment for 1st AG brew

https://www.pecoservices.co.uk/digital-mashingboiling-bin---eb1d-30-p.asp Still more expensive than the Maltmiller kit but it does have temp control.

What minimum equipment for 1st AG brew

That particular kit requires a temperature stepped mash . I wouldn't try doing a temperature stepped mash as a beginner. I would go for a kit that requires a single step infusion mash. Learn the basics first.

    1st time kegging help

Here's a link to a carbonation calculator which will help you dial in the correct carbonation for whatever beer you're making. Link also shows a video explaining how to use the calculator whether you're forced carbonating or fermenting under pressure, which would include priming and secondary...

What system for first time brewer

To stay within your budget £350 to £400 and include temperature controlled fermentation, the Brewzilla won't get you there . I have and I'm very happy with the Brewilla gen 4. But it's a machine for making the wort. For temperature controlled fermentation including fermenting lagers you'll need...

Brewzilla Gen 4 advice and experiences

I've been using mine for about 18 months, I've not had any problems apart from forgetting to turn my Bluetooth thermometer on once until about 30 minutes into the mash.🫢

Brewzilla Gen 4 advice and experiences

If you're doing a full volume mash you would also have more water above the grain than you would normally use for sparging to account for boil off during the boil. That would balance what you've got in your so-called dead space.

Brewzilla Gen 4 advice and experiences

No need to consider dead space. But depending on your batch size and grain bill you may not get the full amount of water in at the start. If you use the brewfather app make a copy of the existing Brewzilla G4 equipment profile then edit it for no sparge. Include grain volume in mash limits. and...

Brewzilla Gen 4 advice and experiences

I've used some whole leaf hops in my last two batches in the brewzilla gen 4 , I didn't use a hop spider or a hop bag. I just left them to settle after the boil and they formed a nice filter bed.

    Pressure fermenter cleaning

As I said the opening post was regarding A PET FERMENTER WITH A SMALL OPENING THAT HE COULDN'T GET HIS HAND IN 😂

    Pressure fermenter cleaning

If you look at the opening post, the problem was cleaning the keg king chubby, which has a very small opening.

    Malt

There are two spitting feathers one is a brewery and the other (a different company is homebrew) https://www.spitting-feathers-homebrew.co.uk/store/beer-kits/grains-and-hops/?product-page=1

    Pressure fermenter cleaning

You can't get your hand in the original chubby. The new chubby Apollo you can get your hand in but it's not available in the UK yet. And it's Keg king not Kegland.

    Which spunding valve?

It's far more convenient if you fit spunding valve outside the fridge so you don't even need to open the fridge to adjust it or read it.

    Which spunding valve?

Maybe if I was desperate to save a few pennies and not in a rush. And I don't think it's available in 8 mm (5/16) push fit to the United Kingdom. But I'm perfectly satisfied with the Blowtie in all its variants.

    Which spunding valve?

That would apply if you're force carbonating with a CO2 cylinder. But if you're using the spunding valve and temperature to regulate the CO2 volumes being dissolved into the beer whilst fermenting, then the gauge on the spunding valve is important.

    Which spunding valve?

So you're not using a spunding valve to achieve your carbonation, so the accuracy is irrelevant to you. I regularly use spunding to achieve the specific volume of CO2 during the latter stages of fermentation for the style of beer I'm brewing. I've never messed around with force carbonating after...
