    there is the staffordshire cheese and beer company near there, that do some good beers , flash brewery beer is one that i brought from them but do not list it on there website, flash is a small village near buxton , it is the hightest village in england and has a nano brewery there, shame...

    hi i was on hoilday near buxton and had some berr from the flash brewery, the ruby ale and it was fantastic, i have tired looking on the web but can not find a website or anywhere i can buy it, can anyone help, i would hate to think that i will never have it again many thanks :drink:

    the water came in at £3.40 so not bad, my mate a few doors down has a well in his garage, from when the area was farm land , the well was from the house. may try the well water next.

    it's the first one i've done in a while, took some tips and used bottled water instead of tap, not sure what differance if any this will make just drinking some coopers lager that i made about 3 mouths ago , tasting quite good now ( for lager) :party:

    i have been using mainly woodfordes kits, wherry and nelson's revenge, have just brought the sundew kit from woodfordes which i will do tomorrow. want to get another one started in a few weeks so any ideas of an easy kit would be gratfully recived. i like dark ale's and porters if this helps mark

    hi, mark from sussex here. have been making beer for about a year but results are very up and down so would love any help. i also make fruit wine with fruit from my allotments, normally these turn out well which the wife loves...lol would be nice if there was some other people from the arun...

    hi, new member here.... im going to get an ale kit proberly a woodfordes as used these before, any ideas on how to get the best from the kit as the beers i have made have beena bit hit and miss would be gratful of any help :cheers:
