    I really think the elephant in the room is battery life ,it's all well and good having an eight year warranty ,what happens after ? Would you buy one ? Based on ,my mobile phones ,battery power tools ,and laptops , eight years is about it . My last MacBook was supposed to be good for over 1200...

    You are quite right , I also see that it has only being in the fermenter roughly a week ,a lot of us leave it in for two weeks or so as it is surprising how long some yeast take to chew through the last percentage points ,

    I have been keeping my packets of yeast in the freezer alongside my hops for the past 18 months and it does it no harm at all ,performs as intended .
