Started a coopers wheat beer just now, mixed everything up, syphoned a sample to my trial jar, and my daughter broke my hydrometer. How long could i keep a sample before taking the SG. Is it that important, as once the reading is consistant then its ready, which leads on to, what is the strength...

I bought a youngs brew buddy from tescos , just to try it out. Got a few bits left to buy first though. And no, not a swansea fan!
