    Can someone give me their step by step guide for backsweetening fruit wines from end of fermentation including when to add Pot Sorb and CTs, whether to stir when sugar added etc. Also is it different for juice wines? Thanks, Barry

    Back sweetening WOW

    Just racked my first WOW: SG 1.088, FG 0.990 and would like to get it from dry to medium dry. I have Youngs Wine Sweetner but dont know how much to use to get it to medium dry... anyone have any idea? OR does anyone know another method I can use: I am off work tomorrow so i can shop if need be.

    Thanks Do you have to syphon it then when bottling or can you pour it in? I ask because if I syphon it i will find it difficult to keep the syphon low enough whilst aiming in the bottles and changing from bottle to bottle.

    Okay will do Moley thanks, so from now on I'll take it as done when the bubbles down to about 2 mins. BTW I did my first WOW about 10 days ago SG of 1.088 when adjusted for topping up and its been going really well: I think Ive been converted.
