    It is the beerworks one yes - it's the instructions which come with the Hydrometer which say to wait for 0.006 sorry, not the kit instructions. Cheers all, that's put my mind at rest. Time to bottle my first batch :D

    Cheers for replying so quickly :) It's from a kit, Uncle Teddy's Yorkshire bitter. Expected AVB of 4%, if that helps. The reason I'm concerned is that the kit warns that bottling above 1.006 could result in bottle bombs!

    Hi all, I'm completely new to brewing - as in I have a kit and I'm about to get started - and I've been saving bottles for a couple of months. The problem is that I took a look at my bottle collection today... and most of them have mould growing in the bottom. I guess I didn't rinse them...
