    Yeah, took one on Tuesday when I was checking SG, tried it and it was very tasty. No problems in that respect Edit to add - I didn't detect any sourness or off flavours in case that's what you were getting at. Just a moderate amount of bitterness.     First thing I done was check the hydrometer, bang on 1 at 20 degrees, airlock activity has all but stopped, bout 1 bubble every 2 mins but krausen still on top so maybe still some co2 in suspension. As I say though, 1.003 is lowest I've seen a beer go

    Wee bit about my procedure and to give the thread a bump Made the kit to the instructions, rehydrated the yeast at 27 degrees, then pitched when yeast was 23 and wort 21. Went straight out to brew fridge at 20 degrees, airlock started showing activity after 5/6 hours and was really vigorous...

    Just joined the forum and this is my first post. Started this last Wednesday so only been going a week but I've already reached fg, bit of a weird one as a few posts on here said 2-3 weeks. It's been in the brew fridge set at 20 degrees which is the recomended low temp, so can't even blame it...
