Floating dip tubes, worth the £ ?

I've only bothered with one of my kegs. I use it on one where I keg hop. The rest, the standard dip tube is perfect. The very first half pint you pour will be trub/yeast that didn't fully settle during cold crash. The rest will be clear beer.

The 'Recommend me a TV series' thread

I'd find something else tbh 😂 seriously though, first few episodes are entertaining and promised more than the final 3 episodes delivered.

Sorry, I was taking about Black Doves.

The 'Recommend me a TV series' thread

The first 3 episodes are good, then it seems like the writers ran out of ideas. Very flimsy second half to the series in my opinion.

And how the same hop can display different characteristics in different beers. It's what makes it all interesting, right?

I've always found Ekuanot to have a green pepper thing going on with it.

    Electric cars.

Burden of proof is very much on the person making the claims. As the late, great Christopher Hitchens said, "What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." So with that in mind. The post that you copied and pasted is drivel.

Just re-read this. Why on earth would you share things if you've not checked their veracity yourself? You've got time to copy, paste and format these posts, but not to do a quick check whether it's complete nonsense or not?

I don't take issue with having to Google or do research. I take issue with whole articles being lifted and the source not being cited. It's disingenuous at best, and dishonest at worst.

Then perhaps it shouldn't be presented as such when it's reproduced.

Yes. The link I provided shows a tweet of a story from "Sherwood News" where this story seems to originate from. You seem to copy and paste quite a lot of stories and quotes without providing a link from the original source. It would be really helpful if you would quote your sources so we can...

All I see is something that appears to be a copy and paste of an article, but no link to the original source. I think it's fair to doubt the veracity of a post when the image used is AI generated, and its origin is obscured.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/tesla-cars-seen-from-space/ Because it's the usual clickbait nonsense. Would be good if people backed up posts with sources.

I had the gingerbread one. Think that might have been a couple of years ago though. My memory fails me. I wonder why 😂

I have that one in the fridge. Think it may be from last Christmas.

Malt Miller Suprise Hops - What I got.

I'd be inclined to brew a NZ Pilsner with them. You'll have loads left over to do a NEIPA with them too. If they don't stand alone well in the Pilsner, then at least in a NEIPA you could use something more bold to complement them.

What if some people are genetically unable to perceive astringency,

Tesco does a fantastic Italian one in mini Prosecco-like bottles. Angioletti it's called.
