How do you keep a head on your beer ? Every kit I've done all lager they lose there head very quickly,what am I doing wrong or is there anything to add to keep head on? Cheers

Hi I'm on my 4th kit brew and which is European lager been in fav for a week now going to a homebrew shop out of town tomorrow I would like to add some taste to this kit as done it before and was nice but lacks a bit of taste any suggestions cheers

I am a newbie. Once fermentation is complete, and I am waiting for the wine to clear, do I leave the airlock in all the time? Also the airlock has a red cap on - does this remain on the airlock at all times or should it be removed at any stag?

Hi darrellm how did you prime your lager ,I want to batch prime mine but undecided how much cane sugar to use ?

Your right titanic if it wasn't for this forum I would of followed can instructions and beer would of really tasted poor , time and patience is the key

I tasted my first homebrew last week it was horrible so poured it down sink, kept 6 bottles just tasted one tonight god I'm gutted pouring it away ,so patience is needed ,I'm still a newbie at this game so it's a lesson learnt

Just got European lager from Tescos direct with be2 I have a spare half bag of brewing sugar is it advisable to put this in as well , I would like to put some hops in ,has any one got any which hops to put in cheers

I was looking at bulldog kit ,but local hub shop only had black rock is that any good

Drank some of my first home brew last night it was bloody horrible binned the lot today .probably my own fault kept on taking lid off ,maybe twice a day, it was the lager you get with coopers diy kit. Put a bottle of my second hb in the fridge this afternoon which is Canadian blonde not ready...

Cheers slid been away for a week so it's been in fv for 9 days ,just put hop tea bag in tonight ,how long would you leave it in for before bottling up cheers

Thought it would be a lighter colour than this ,has anyone brewed this beer ,if so did it look like this ?
