    Hi master brewers :? I would be most grateful please if someone could enlighten this novice, how you know, how long and when to stop sparging and also if you don't reach your target of say 23 litres should you top up with water or not before pitching the yeast? it doesn't seem right to me if...

    The OWD BOB went down a treat, vanished very quickly, we had a bit of a doo fort Ma in Law's 80th Birthday. I thought it tasted a bit thin at first as someone else posted before, but soon got over that minor point and hit the spot just right :drunk: :D

    It looks as though Cropton Brewery are going to be busy, brewing fot Tesco!
