    There is no reason that I know of that means you can't use copper alloy fittings in conjunction with stainless steel apart from aesthetics :thumb:

    Ok it's in working order and ready to go :D I just need to hard wire the HLT switch in ;) There were a couple of leaks when I ran it at temperature but it's better to find them now than during a brew :) Here it is I'll be doing a 60L trial run of cooking bitter tomorrow afternoon :D...

    Yes add the 1kg of beer enhancer, but no sugar :thumb: The 50g of sugar added on day 8 was priming sugar to give a little life to the beer in the keg :)

    The beer kit enhancer is used instead of sugar :thumb: Add it when the instructions say to add sugar instead of the sugar ;)

    In an enclosed situation like an incinerator the temperature can reach in excess of 1400C without the need for "proper fuel" hot enough to melt aluminium brass bronze low grade cast iron and even glass :shock: Believe me I know :ugeek: Jon(athan) Shaw Process Metallurgist(Cast metals)

    That truly is a serious brewery build :mrgreen: As an aside a common or garden house brick will withstand a constant heat of 450 to 500C so no worries there :thumb:
