    Light the blue touch paper!

Thanks for all your input, I'll keep an eye on the corny. By the way, just got back from the 'van and the car smells bloody gorgeous, eau de Art Genesis Stout I think it's called:) Cheers

    Light the blue touch paper!

All records show that all gravities hit target (using Brewlog software) so it suggests it was fermented out. Keg primed with 2 carbs drops so don't think it could be over primed. The keg had distorted so may be a faulty keg. The rest of the batch is in a corny and no build up in that...

BOOM! Over primed, not fermented out or too little head space? Cheers.

    Corny Disconnects

Just spoken to Carl at The Malt Miller, they're sending out a free plastic out connector (no steel ones in stock just now) and will replace the steel one when stock comes in. Thanks to TMM for their courteous and prompt attention. Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Corny Disconnects

Help! http://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/images/uploads/Image%2013.jpg Bought a pair of these cool, stainless disconnects for my cornys. I am suffering an on going, intermittent problem and cannot seem to resolve. The out post leaks, the first time I lost a whole keg, the floor of the brew shed...

    Shiny Grainfather.

You're probably right Stuart, makes the £595 from Home Brew Shop look even more of a bargain.

    Shiny Grainfather.

Just launching the Beta in NZ (trialists have to buy it), shipping in Autumn, who knows when they'll be in UK. I bet they'll be towards £700 rather than the £650 current price. I did check as many current suppliers and all are still at c£650 so the intent was to tell anyone thinking...

    Shiny Grainfather.

Suppose a bit like buying a tee with a 3d aninule on it for 28 quid or just buying a white one from t'ASDA for 3 quid? Both do the job. Cheers

    Temperature Controller.

No, I have an STC1000 and its not the same. I've found a manual for an earlier model which is easier to understand so I'll try that. Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Managed to finally suss it out using the older model manual. It is really quite easy, feel a bit of a dummy!

This, by the way, is a Meihang 1210 not an STC1000 which I already have. They don't set in the same way. Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hi All, http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=131732918789 Bought one of these to control my beer cooler that's factory set to about 4'c which is far too cold for me. Managed to wire it without much trouble the problem is I can't for the life of me work our how to set it. It...

Grainfather getting clogged on false bottom

I've had this problem from time to time, seems to happen when the grain has a fair bit of flour in it. I've found that a real good stir after doughing in can help, if not stop the pump halfway through the mash and give it another stir, this helps and gives it chance to filter clear again. What...

    Red Wine and Corny Kegs.

I read on winemakermag.com that co2 can be used. Set the pressure just enough to pour then turn off the gas and vent the keg. A small amount of co2 could dissolve but its negligible. This would need to be done each time you need wine. Cheers

    Red Wine and Corny Kegs.

Her in doors is really getting into Kenridge Classic wine kits, she turns her nose up when offered a Virgin Wine £10 plus bottle. I am running AG brewing and dispensing with Cornys, are there any out there using Cornys for still wine serving? Pros, cons, things to be wary of? Any help...
