    Rubbish tube heaters!

That’s impressive, was it taped to the side of the FV?

    Rubbish tube heaters!

You could try a vivarium heat mat.

    Brewing at room temperature

Get yourself a reconditioned keg and spunding valve. You can then ferment whatever you want at room temperature.

It is when you’ve got a woman indoors.

    Censorship

The protest in London and the one in Bristol look to me like they were by groups, that for the main part, are from different ends of the political spectrum.

    Fermenting under pressure

I am doing a Bitter tomorrow so I will wait till fermentation has almost stopped before I add pressure and probably let it rise to 10 psi.

    Fermenting under pressure

I thought lagering took place after fermentation?

    Fermenting under pressure

Yep that’s why I’m asking. I am interested in whether the first day or two is enough for ester production to have reached the desired amount before the spunding valve is activated.

    Corny keg

I would go with this, give them a call to see when the party taps are back in stock. Or get one with a proper tap and stick the keg in an old fridge and mount the tap through the door. Other than this you need to hire a CO2 bottle, so maybe £50 hire that includes a £25 deposited on the bottle...

    Fermenting under pressure

Have you used this method for any English ale yeasts?

    Fermenting under pressure

Another plus to add to the list is you can ferment a full batch of lager with one packet of yeast, due to possible warmer fermentation temperature.

    Oktoberfest Lower ABV

Started drinking an Oktoberfest I brewed 3 weeks ago, came out as my best lager type beer so far. I pressure fermented it at 19c and 28psi. It has fermented very clean and carbonation is perfect, clarity is probably 8/10 but I did not add gelatine and it's only three weeks since brewed. Clear...

    One Percent

Maybe they don’t consider it a **** job and enjoy it, they may well love their jobs, not everybody looks at life through your eyes? How many jobs out there pay £34,000 a year with excellent job security, extensive sick pay, maternity leave, good pension? They deserve all of it but this 1% pay...

    The perfect Fermenting fridge??

Easy rigging up an old fridge with an inkbird and heater. Also how much does regassing cost?

    Fermenter King Jr. Vs Corny

So the price difference between a Fermenter King Junior and a top quality reconditioned corny keg is about £25 when you factor in the floating dip tube as an extra for the keg. I don't think there is any other area in home brewing where stainless steel is so close in price to plastic. Stainless...
