    Well, that'll be it then!!! Im suprised 2 vials isnt enough though? by that maths it means 10 would be needed? eitherway i will have to order some new yeast, probably a wyeast....will this create any off flavours by having 2 different yeasts in there?

    Gas Leak.

    Hi all, All fixed, i found the culprit pretty easily by spraying everything with starsan and the bubbles quickly appeared over a John Guest splitter! so replaced and all sorted! The beer appears to be fine now too which is the main thing. Thanks for the responses

    Can you brew with less hops?

    Hi all with regards to freezing hops; is there any need to defrost what you need? or simply throw them in frozen and they'll do their job? cheers

    Yep, just went to the local hardware shop, bought a new washer (was only 20p so why not) and some tape...now working perfectly. Beer set to 8psi and will leave it a week before trying some! (now i know how the regulator works, i can't believe how idiotic my original questions way....If only...

    Yep that worked perfectly, thanks! Only problem i have now is the connection between the Co2 and regulator is leaking, i've tightened it up as much as i can so probably need some teflon tape or something
