    Have I done anything stupid?

I can adjust when to add the centennial, that's not an issue. I'll pop it through brewersfriend again and see what I can come up with although IIRC BF doesn't seem to recognise any IBUs after the boil

    Have I done anything stupid?

Hi guys, Looking to use up some of my freezer hops with a NEIPA in time for New Year. I've come up with this for a 3 gallon batch. Have I missed anything or done anything daft... Bear in mind, these are all hops I have in my freezer only... 3kg pale ale malt 0.5kg flaked oats 0.5kg flaked...

My wife is fizzing because the Belgian Wheat I made for her isn’t

I've found that with most batches as well (within 1-2 weeks) Although I did reduce the sugar to just 1 carb drop in this batch as the last batch I did with an extra 1/2 tsp of sugar gave some impressive fountains when they were opened. I'll take Slid's advice and try popping some more sugar in...

My wife is fizzing because the Belgian Wheat I made for her isn’t

As the title suggests, I have a batch that is under carbonated. I used my usual 1 carbonation drop per 500ml bottle, left for 2 weeks at room temperature and I have almost no carbonation beyond the initial pop whenever the bottle is opened (swing top) Any suggestions on what to do with this...

Cider from Aldi 100% natural apple juice

Cider from Aldi 100% natural apple juice

It’s why I have arguments with my wife about brewing. I have a horrible feeling that these could be solved by spending £12 on a second brew bucket, but I may not be able to brew fast enough for the bottles I have. Then kegs may be involved, and we all know it’s a slippery slope from there...

    To dry hop or not?

I use pellets but have a hop spider that I bought off eBay which works brilliantly for dry hopping

    To dry hop or not?

I'm about to make this today, and am considering throwing a 7 day dry hop of 14g Cascade and 14g Citra for a bit more of a hoppy punch What do you think? 2.14kg Pale Malt 430g Munich 310g Flaked Wheat 21g Perle (60 min) 3.2g Irish Moss (15 min) 10g Cascade (10 mins) 20g Cascade (Flameout)...
