Yep, think the thing with Assam is that it's a single origin tea and not a blend(says he that hasn't bothered to look it up first🤣) so quality is pretty consistent across brands at least to my palate, the price range from £1.20-£2 for 50bags, tesco do 100 for £2.75? And then you get into £3+ for...

    I can't get a good nitro pour

Random thought from a newbie to the whole nitro pore myself, have you tried reducing the serving pressure? I've noticed a correlation between carbonation and head size, or try a half pore using stout nozzle and half without stout nozzle? I'm still after that amazing cascade so don't mind when i...

    What did you brew today?

I sort of did the fullers london porter from the "big book of clones" was 10g short on the crystal malt and had to sub the bittering hops @60 as I only had enough fuggle for the 15min addition.

    Hot wort to fermenter?

I'd be inclined to treat the wort like the hot water to mix your LME or DME? As you would with a full extract kit.

    American Brown Ale an appreciation.

Just re did a Moose Drool clone, pitched the yeast at the high end of it's range and it went off like a rocket and was all but done in 12-24hrs, I think the finished beer has a bit of esters going on so ive re done it but made sure the wort was sub 20° this time🤣🤣🤣

    What Extract kit

Jonco have a look on the likes of MaltMiller as they do small batch All Grain kits, plus they have a recipe builder, Crossmyloof still have a few 4.5ltr kits left(you pay more for them but its free delivery) you don't need much extra kit to do AG 8ltr+ stock pop Mesh bag(I started with aldl...
