    Tom Caxton Real Ale

I don't think I have ever brewed this one before. I also don't think there is such a thing as a good or bad kit brewer only patient and impatient ones. As the is the first time I have pretty much followed the instructions only thing I changed was the sugar, I used dextrose instead of table sugar.

    My Fermzilla has landed

I'm just drinking it anyway, by the time I have had 2 glasses I really don't care what the next few look or taste like. It's not the best I have ever brewed, it's not the worst either, it's just on this side of the drinkable scale, so drink it I will.

    My Fermzilla has landed

Well somehow this has all gone pete tong, brought the keg in from the garden where it's been "lagering" for a couple of weeks at around 8c and it;s as cloudly as hell, tastes very yeasty as well :/ Not one I shall be offering to visitors then, I shall however drink it, it's quaffable but only just.

    Keg carbonation

I have Corny 19l kegs, I usually just fill them with beer, give them 10psi then shut gas off, check in 24 hours, turn gas back to bring up top 10 psi if needed then turn gas off, rinse and repeat.

    Which Regulator

Try it and see, all I can tell you is that every Kegland reg I have used has been faulty :/ My regs are by Lierna an italian company, they really aren't cheap but are widely considered the best and they have never let me down like cheaper ones have.

    Tilt hydrometer

I have seen them for £130 posted but still too expensive. I neither really need or want one but if they are on sale at a good price I might be tempted. Good price being close to £100
