    corny carbonation.

This is most likely a dumb question...but...why then when I go to the pub and a keg runs out...they just hook a new one up and out comes the beer? They don't have time for 2 weeks...30 in 30 etc.

Politics and religion, please read even if you avoid these topics.

Interestingly, a barkeep I know well has always stated that topics on these matters are never allowed on his watch as they can lead to heated discussions that neither side will bend on....leading to escalating tempers...

    coopers stout

I made the original with a can of the dark ale..some DME and a bit of molasses....it was very good and didnt last long. Waiting to bottle the "toucan" dark ale so I can put another Stout on. I would say stout is about my favourite drink

    coopers stout

I was just noticing that Coopers makes a Stout, and an Australian Stout. Anyone able to describe any inherent differences between them? Odd I hadnt noticed that they had two different products. Dave

    Tap style

Not sure if this is the right forum...or title, but here goes. When I was last in England, I noticed quite a few of the pubs I visited had taps that the barman had to pump to get the beer out. ( not unlike a well head for water ) What is the purpose/ why do they have them??? I thought the CO2 is...

    20 litre beer kit

Ive started brewing "Toucan" kits to 20L (21 actually so that after the racking I still have 20L) For me it makes the bottle needs easier at 40 per batch as I made all my storage crates to hold 10 bottles ea. I hope to progress to cornies in the near future......

Business bodies come together in call for softer Brexit

From someone who sits across the pond and watches...I have a question/ or perhaps observation. My understanding is that England is not part of the EU proper...you are much like Norway and a couple other countries. ( you have an association ) so what if you leave something you aren't part of...

    Toucan Lager

After reading about doing some "Toucan" Coopers kits I thought I would give it a go. A local store had Coopers Lager on sale so I picked a couple up and thought what the heck. Being a noob, I don't have much to compare it to ( used to brew years ago...but what I produced was pretty bad ) Two...
