    Morals and ethics

What you said is true...but in reality you may well be faced with an absolutely binary choice (as I was)...do you OK a risky and potentially life threatening procedure that may extend the life of a person for a short period, but will not enhance there life in any way, or change the inevitable...

    £250,000 for 1 kid - ethical?

Ive read this thread 2x now and havent seen where someone suggested euthanasia. If that was a response to my questioning the doctors interventions into severely compromised births.....that is not euthanasia, or what I was/am suggesting. When my father was dying, his condition was such that...

    £250,000 for 1 kid - ethical?

I agree, but the medical community should not step in when there is no good outcome for any of the principles involved.

    £250,000 for 1 kid - ethical?

Where I work, years back when the severely disabled were warehoused at my site, we had what we referred to as the "million dollar babies" As medical advancements were made, the doctors were able to save more and more lives of these babies that otherwise would have died at...or shortly after...

    Brewing belt v Heat mat

    Heads Up - 25kg LME

Im no expert by a long shot, but as an extract brewer, the only time I got the "twang" was when I used the tin recipe and used a Kilo of sugar instead of backing the can up with DME or LME.. Learned that here...

Where do you keep your "stuff"?

My theory is: "Stuff expands to overflow the space available for it." Kinda explains the issue I am having with my pants..............

I only brew extract kits myself and so far loving it. I need to learn to tweak my brews with added hops etc...but for a lark, look at the Coopers website and check out the recipes. They have all kinds of kit mix and match that are keeping me right some busy. In time I will look again at all...

    Christmas brew schedules

As I knew I would be in NZ until the 4th of Dec, I went on a bit of a brew before I left. I have 20L dark brown Ale..30L Stout, 20L of Coopers bitter, one other kit that alludes me as to which one, and 23l of cider I made off of a recipe I learned here using store bought apple juice. I think I...

Beer Kits - Can you boil them - should you?

The one question I would ask you ( so far I am only brewing kits and just starting to tinker ) is are you following the kit instructions and using a can of malt and a kilo of sugar? If so...ditch the kilo of sugar and use LME or DME instead. That is the one piece of advice that I received here...

Paradise Papers: Tax haven secrets of ultra-rich exposed

I think its great that anybody can...or does save these days. But the question begs to be asked. If you are aquiring something that is becoming worth less and less...what does the future in fact hold?

Paradise Papers: Tax haven secrets of ultra-rich exposed

Herein lies the problem. We cant save money!....in fact, the powers that be do not want us to save money. If you look at the bigger picture, if everyone started to save everything they could...they would be responsible for the crashing of the monetary system. The system as it now stands (which...

Well last night it was Boundary Rd Brewings London Porter named aptly "Jack the sipper." 5.6% in content and nice hops in it. Easier to drink than many other porters I have had, and may request another session with it....
