No real reason for it to be air tight just not keen on ââ¬Ëbreaking the sealââ¬â¢ so to speak, cheers for the input guys, off to drill the drain rarther than the side of the fridge itself I think
Was hoping to not interfere with the seal leaving it as air tight as possible, surly running a cable between the fridge and the seal itself wouldnââ¬â¢t be the best way of doing it?
Acquired a fermentation fridge, got an inkbird & a heater to installl, can I just drill out the drain hole (seems to be made out plastic) or would it be best to drill through the side of the fridge itself?
Cheers
Planning a raspberry wheat for this weekend, got a tried & tested Hoegaarden clone, would it be best to leave out the coriander seeds & orange peel or change the amounts to compensate for the raspberries?
Cheers
Managed to get time to brew after work, pitched the yeast out of the shaker last night & just starting to get some bubbling through the air lock this morning! Happy days!
Cheers, got no extract at hand so fingers crossed nothing nasty has found its way in, wasnââ¬â¢t much that escaped, just ââ¬Ëbroke the sealââ¬â¢ so to speak. How easy would it be to spot an issue with the remaining yeast, if any?
Need some advice please?
Only been brewing for a month or so and Iââ¬â¢ve definitely got the bug, gone straight in the deep end and started with an AG setup, all abit of a learning curve so for but enjoying it!
Got my 6th brew (out of diy dog) planned for tomorrow night / Saturday...
