Removing a post form a corny

22mm long reach socket that I got from the local motor factor. Think it was about 4 quid. Works for me.

    Which regulator?

    Ordered! Thanks both.

    Which regulator?

Looks like my regulator may be on the way out. The pressure gauge (keg side) seams to be stuck on 18 psi or so, so I've got no real idea what pressure I have on the kegs. Just wondering if someone can recommend a replacement? Current set up is an external 6.35 CO2 cylinder outside the homemade...

What kit beer are you drinking tonight?

Dorada. I do like Tenerife, but the constant diet of ice cold pilsner can get a bit monotonous...... Can't wait to get home and try the Festival NZ Pilsner that went in the keg just before we came away..... Always bottled it before.

Thanks to everyone who contributed. I've just pulled a pint of the plisner, and it's perfect!

    Any ideas?

To get started, I bought, some all grain mash kits from HBC in Ireland. They've all come with whole leaf rather than pellets.

    Any ideas?

Thanks. I'm wondering if I'm carrying too much crap over from the boil to the fermentation vessel. I'm using the pump on the Brewzilla, with a nylon bag (from a Festival kit) tied over the end. I think I'll follow the advice, and just leave the two kegs I've got in the keezer for a while...

    Any ideas?

Thanks Drunkula, I did stick it in the Keezer, but for only about 24 hours. Probably my own fault for being too eager (and running out of beer). I'm sure I've seen a Video somewhere about just kegging it, cooling it, and sacrificing the first couple of pulls to get rid of the crap. Was...

Hi Clint, Yep put a protofloc in the boil, as per the instructions.

Hello chaps! I’ve just broken into all grain brewing from kits, and have a few issues. I’ve searched the forum a bit but not found any real solutions (this may be down to by computer literacy!) so I’m praying for some simple answers. Long story short, I’ve been doing kit based brewing for...

    so who gets gout..

I used to get regular attacks, always the same place, big toe on my left foot. My father had exactly the same problem. After numerous trips to my GP, and various prescriptions, they ran a set of blood tests, and discovered high levels of uric acid in my blood stream. Apparently, gout isn't...
