How has it taken them this long?

Looks like mud 🤮 And didn't wearing a baseball cap back to front go out of fashion years ago, how old does he think he is? Cheers Tom

    Crossmyloof

It might sound like a stupid question but have you tried restarting your phone? The Mrs had some problems with her Samsung and restarting it cured them. Just a thought....... Cheers Tom

    have beer kits improved?

I did a Razorback kit a few years ago. I didn't add the extra pack of dextrose and only brewed it to 20 litres but it was lovely. It reminded me of the Devil's Backbone American IPA that Wetherspoons used to sell. That was a really tasty brew 👍 Cheers Tom

    New Festival British beer kits

I'm currently about 1/3 through a keg of the Friars Ale. Supposed to be similar to Abbot Ale 🤣🤣🤣 It's a very drinkable beer but nothing Ike Abbot, it's more like an American IPA. There's none of the rich malt backbone and the hop flavours aren't right. Too much citrus as far as I can tell...

    No bubbles

I've had a couple of kits like that too. I'm not convinced about it myself but if you Google biotransformation it'll give you an idea of what's going on Cheers Tom

At 1.016 it's not far off done. Give it a couple more days and check again. Keep checking until there's no change in the reading. Cheers Tom

Is it not just the light shining on its head that makes it look a different shade? The other ear looks the same shade too 🤔 Cheers Tom

Boosting a Simply Bitter kit with Medium spraymalt

Just found this https://www.brewersfriend.com/lme-dme-conversion-calculator/ It's in pounds not kilos but the ratio will be the same Cheers Tom

Boosting a Simply Bitter kit with Medium spraymalt

If I remember correctly from a few years ago, 1.5kg of liquid extract works out almost the same as 1.25kg of the dried malt 👍 Cheers Tom

    Farts

I think I suffer from the same affliction as you. I started using Protosol from CML, sounds very similar to Star Brite. £9.60 for 250ml delivered and at 10ml per brew it works out quite cheap. It has significantly reduced my "output" 🤣🤣🤣 Cheers Tom

    Dissappearing DME/DWE

Another option...... https://www.hamsteadhomebrew.co.uk/Ingredients/Malt-Extracts---Brewing-Worts/Dried-Malt-Extracts I believe theirs is Briess malt. Easier to dissolve by all accounts Cheers Tom

    Dissappearing DME/DWE

Bought a couple of packs the other week. It's not got the best date on it but it does keep very well. At £5.45 per kg it's certainly worth a go. https://brew2bottle.co.uk/collections/clearance/products/plain-bag-muntons-light-spray-malt-1kg Cheers Tom

    Aerated water for brew

Without the aerator fitted inside the spout the water will still "swirl around" due to the presence of a strangely shaped thing that looks like the head of a thistle but with holes/channels through it. The resulting brew still has a small amount of scum but not the large coating with it fitted...

It might as well be black for the amount of milk we have. It's literally about 5 or 6 drops of milk dripped from a small puddle on a spoon. Even with it being such a small amount it still makes a difference and Mrs Soupdragon wouldn't drink it black Cheers Tom
