Thanks for the correction, I must have missed the one's with pins when I was ordering these and picked the one's without. I would edit my quoted post but that option seems to have gone now. So, to anyone buying I recommend the one's with pins, I find the one's without fall off if pumping hot liquid.

Taps may be one day when I have finished the house project and then got fed up with walking out to the brewery for a pint in the middle of winter ;) . That's a very good point, do they only fit to specific taps?

I guess the lid would seal better than the bucket and the smaller hole would perhaps restrict air ingress when you open for any reason during fermentation, other than that a bucket works fine, though I have never actually used one ;)

It always amazes me how you all get the beers in in time at such short notice unless you happen to have all the ingredients in stock or have the beer already brewed.

I have decided I want one to fill a few bottles direct from keg, the Boel itap looks great but not available now it seems and as they appear to be Russian made then that's a good explanantion why. I have looked at the Nukatap and the Kegland version and also the Tapcooler, I think for now at...
