Up here there is tons of the stuff...has anyone used it in their brews? Is it the leaves or flowers/cones? and what quantities, i imagine its quite potent.

i had a bag of goldings and also Godiva. Always a nice surprise when the box arrives.athumb..

Just thought i would give Crossmyloof a big thumbs up. Since diving back into the world of homebrew and being based up here in the Highlands, i thought aquiring ingredients etc and postage/delivery would be a bit of an issue. Not a problem, have used Crossmyloof a few times now for grain, hops...

so...after all that am i right in assuming that my water is great for a base and may need a boost in mineral content and alkalinity depending on style...just trying to get things clear in my head!

Thank you...i understand the annual report is not ideal but its a start...finding it all very interesting as previously i didnt bother even thinking about the water...the more i read about the different aspects of brewing and of course the plethora of info on here the more i am getting absorbed...
