Mixing S-04 with the Fuller yeast?

Nothing subjective about it. Fullers is an excellent yeast especially if cultivated from one of their bottles. SO-4 is the worst yeast any brewer could ever use.

    R.I.P Thread.

Gianluca Vialli was not only a great footballer he was also a real gentleman with a great sense of humor. His first game as Chelsea manager, a league cup game, he gave all the Chelsea players a glass of champagne just before they went on to the pitch, and they won.

Advice on brewing Timothy Taylor. What water profile

Landlord should be 1:2 sulphate:chloride ratio instead of 2:1 which is normal for a pale ale. and that is from a video the head brewer put out a few years back

    Yeast produced in the UK

Brewlabs, based in Sunderland, keep their yeast frozen and grow each slant when ordered so it is as fresh as you can get. As their yeast bank is quite extensive they can provide a lot more strains than they advertise. I phoned them several years ago and asked if they could supply a yeast from a...

    TT Landlord.

The last one I did was calcium 142 sulphate 122 chloride 231. I used golden promise malt as well but this is not as important as the yeast.

    TT Landlord.

I would ask for my money back. It is hard to make any decent beer with SO-4 let alone a premium beer like Landlord. Water treatment is also relevant with this beer. Most pale ales tend to have a 2:1 sulphate:chloride ratio Landlord is 1:2.

    TT Landlord.

The character of any beer is determined by its yeast and with Landlord the yeast is crucial finished beer. Unless you can get some yeast directly from the brewery Whitelabs and Wyeast Yorkshire yeast are the nearest you will get, reputedly derived from the brewery yeast. Brewlabs Yorkshire yeast...
