    Sounds good, with adding malts can it just be straight up swapped for brewing sugar? i.e. 900g of sugar = 900g of malt?

    Thanks I'll have a look through the range. I would like to get to a point of mashing myself and experimenting with different flavours of ale. I'm quite partial to a dark ale so think I might try a Coopers kit of that. Would be nice to get it for Hogmany as well :D.

    Hi there, Well I've tried to brew a couple of times before but its gone pear shaped for several reasons really. I tried to make some lager using a Young's starter kit which worked fine but I think when we were bottling it we shook up the sediment and put it in the bottles, the lager tasted...
