Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

And you sir just said what I needed to hear!!! Thank you 😆 Knowing my luck I have calculated the water wrong and it'll come out like bloody barley wine but regardless I'll drink it. Even if it is undrinkable! I shall look at the hop schedule again and repost my alterations in...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Yeah id ike that buddy. Once I do the brew I will.post my starting gravity. Beersmith says 1.053 with 500g of crystal and 200 victory, 100 black malt and 4.8kg MO. Final gravity should be 1.013 which will give the right mouth feel for what I'm trying to achieve. I agree that the 90 and 60...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

You see now I'm at a quandary. I have bought 500g of 152 ebc crystal and 500g of victory. I'm looking at the colour of adding all of the Crystal and I love residual sweetness as long as there is a happy aftertaste. I'm in two minds whether I should have posted it on here or not but I really...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

I have already bought it... it arrives tomorrow. Is it not worth throwing in the 200g? Will it ruin the beer? So keep my other hop additions as is but throw all the goldings in at 10 minutes?

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Ah ok. I thought I would try and use up the old fuggles. I will revisit the hops additions. I know that in previous brews I used around 80g of hops buy I do use very low alpha hops wherever possible. I have noticed tonight that the Fuggles pack is very much not as vacuumed as it probably was...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Good call. I'll reduce the 90 minute addition! If I go to 20g I come down to 28.9 IBU Wow that was quick! I find Beersmith I royal pain in the backside at times... The problem is I deleted the app a year ago and can't remember log in details (even if I created one) so can't see the recipes or...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Would you say ditch the Caramalt and reduce the crystal malt? I just had 160g of Caramalt left over...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Ah. I only have Beersmith. Is brew mate free? Those fuggles are over 2 years old in the pack and I'm pretty sure they were really low alpha content. Probably better to be safe than sorry...

Been out of the ALL GRAIN game for a while. What do you think to this recipe?

Hi boys and girls, It's been over 2 years since I was brewing and a couple of weeks ago I made some AG beer. I don't think it'll be great but as a reminder for the processes it has helped a lot. I have spent some time today coming up with some ideas for a recipe and I am looking at using more...

Suitable hops for English and American ales

Good call! I only recommend citra at the end because woodfordes told me to. Not as explicit as that but when I suggested it they applauded my choice. I'm from and live in Nottingham. We have no ties. But woodfordes were brilliant in helping me create my finest ever all grain beer...

First time trying to clone a beer... Nelson's Revenge

I actually loved this beer and I am about to make it again. It does lack body if drunk too soon but given 2+ months and it is wonderful. I tried using an extra kilo of pale malt on a batch a week after this. That has body earlier, after a month it's brill if not a little strong. However...
