    Party Star Deluxe

Hi **** Buster, I’ve got one of those and I use it with 8/16g little gas canister that fits inside the handle which is then screwed into the main body. The dial is set at the lowest point when it’s screwed in and turned up to get the correct flow/carbonation depending on the type of beer. Hope...

    First Cider Kit

Hi folks, I have just done my first ever batch of cider, it was a kit by Mangrove Jacks called NZ premium cider. Was just enquiring as to whether once fermentation is complete do I need to cold crash before bottling/kegging as I do with my all grain beer brews. Any advice would be greatly...

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Having only watched the first half, the ABs blew South Africa away. Absolutely incredible the speed with which they played, maybe a glimpse of what is to come at RWC 2023. Think it could be an All Blacks v France final, can’t believe how fast the game has become from when I started...

    R.I.P Thread.

A sad loss, great memories of seeing them live, back in the day once in 1980 at Coventry Odeon as it was then and a few years later in Birmingham, when Hugh Cornwell wound the crowd up. Heard all the classics on both night. Also a sad loss recently Wilko Johnson originally with Dr Feelgood but a...

    Possible Beer Stone in Fermentor

Hi All, Just need some advice, have recently noticed on the inside of my Brewmonk 30L Conical Fermentor a slight rough section all the way around the inside, it’s roughly around about where the Krausen would be when fermentation is taking place. I always clean using a microfibre cloth and...

What washer for use in fermenter?

I personally would use silicon washer/O ring, because it's suitable for food grade/products. A stainless steel locknut is the better option as well
