    Premier league. [Spoiler warning]

I was never one who subscribed to Lampard doing a "great job" at Chelsea. In the season before he arrived they had just finished 3rd in the league, got to the league cup final and won the europa league yet the so called experts seem to think he did wonderfully well to finish 4th last season...

Is it my imagination or have I finally found something worth living for? 🤔

    NEIPA question

I brewed the NEIPA from the Greg Hughes book and in the middle of bottling. The book says two weeks at 10 degrees after that. Question is, will it carb up at that temperature? I'm a bit sceptical.

Has anyone else just had enough?

I've been a bit the same this week Nick, the whole thing kinda getting to me. Hoping to book something so that there is something to look forward to further down the line. This seems to help me. Whether it is a concert, short break away etc. I would agree with a lot said above, try to have a...

    First Stout AG brew

This is worth a try if you are into stouts. I brewed it a couple of months back with Nottingham Ale Yeast and tastes very nice already but going to leave the rest for a few weeks to see if it gets even better. https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/black-sabbath.53518/

Cannot believe the price of some of the beers on that link. £4.99 for a can of beer. Bloody hell. 🤠

    Healthy drinking

Comes down to personal choices I guess but no harm in being made aware of the fact that drinking a lot can be detrimental to your overall health. We could all eat a McDonalds for dinner six nights a week and not wake up the next day feeling any worse for it but long term I think everyone would...

Name a Beer that makes you go WOW!!

Good topic. But for me, time of day, tiredness, mood, temperature of beer, company all contribute to what you think is a good/bad beer at any particular moment................. and we can also over think beer a bit and get a little bit too excited over one being so much better than the other...

    First brew help please

Stick the hops in and leave for a few days but don't leave until day 15 otherwise the hops will have been in for too long. 3 or 4 days is plenty. It's a great beer, you will not be disappointed.

    first AG Brew

Time can be a killer when doing all grain. You make some good points terrym, looks like I brew in a similar way to you. Also, if you want to speed things up a little bit @FridgeSpaceBrewing, boil your kitchen kettle maybe three times and that will add around 6 litres of boiling water to your...

How many units per week. [POLL]

Surely how you drink your quota is important too? Eg, the continentals drinking a glass of wine each night with a meal may rack up 15-20 units a week in this way but I suspect this is way better for you than having nothing six nights a week and drinking eight pints on a Saturday night.

    Healthy drinking

Agree with some of the comments here; not sure quite why but it seems that brewing more does make me inclined to drink more. Maybe there is a message there for me? I try to have three or four nights a week without any beer but it can sneak down to one or two pretty easily. Also interesting...

Worlds best footballer spotted at the Etihad.

Surely Juventus need to break the bank to get him paired up with Ronaldo. That would even make me watch Italian football. The last chance there will ever be to have the two of them in the same side.
