Is this going to be the end of the orange man?

Agree I doubt Boris will still be there if there's one thing you can count on the Tory's for it's their ability for backstabbing they are the undisputed ruthless masters of it. If their popularity wanes and it looks like they will lose an election out comes the long knives, power at any cost is...

Is this going to be the end of the orange man?

But whose pockets does it end up in?

Complete novice looking to get started.

Where to start! Ok, I'm sure there will be a lot of members here that will come along and give you tons of advice learned from their many years of experience. I'm new here and have only been making my own beer off and on for well over 50 years. 1. I would say start with the minimum equipment...

Your views on how the Tories have handled Coronavirus.

Apparently young children don't appear to be severely impacted by the virus and the vast majority get over it fairly quickly seemingly without any lasting effects, although unfortunately and perhaps tragically there will be exceptions to this, and if it happens to be your child absolutely...

    Show us your cat

Having tried to wash a cat in the bath once I thought it was quite funny. However, seeing as it appears to have annoyed you I will give the dog a good ticking off and tell her to go sit in the corner.

    Show us your cat

How to wash a Cat 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/4 cup of pet shampoo to the water bowl. 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 3. In one smooth movement put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. (you may need to stand on the lid) 4. At this...

    Wasp stings

My wife got stung by a bee on the forehead. I had to call an ambulance She's at the hospital now, her face all swollen and bruised, she almost died. Luckily I was close enough to hit the bee with my shovel.

    Pressure barrel

I'm beginning to think I was just lucky, half expecting it to start leaking now :( I was just trying to do it on the cheap. It would make things a lot easier if you could get a pressure gauge with a long thread unfortunately I haven't been able to find one.

    Pressure barrel

Sorry, my bad you are right it was 10mm, I have edited the post in case someone decided to follow it. I did think about pressure leaking up the thread and ordered some Dowty sealing washers but they hadn't arrived when I fitted the gauge, fortunately, I haven't needed them, at least I have them...

    Pressure barrel

I looked for a gauge to permanently fit on a Schrader valve or an adaptor to fit a normal pressure gauge and couldn't find one. It would have been a lot easier if I could have.

    Pressure barrel

Update, having not received what I would consider a satisfactory reply from the seller (not really prepared to compromise on the cost or postage that much) I decided to just fit a pressure gauge myself. The eBay one is £14.99 plus £3.29 postage total £18.28 so I was looking at around £54 for my...

    The Coronavirus thread.

It's War of the Worlds all over again only this time it's us who are succumbing to a virus. If you can't do anything about it LAUGH AT IT.

    The Coronavirus thread.

We're all doomed, you know. The whole, silly, drunken, pathetic lot of us. Doomed by the air we're about to breathe.

    The Coronavirus thread.

Every disaster film starts with a government ignoring a scientist. But fear not with a beer in one hand and a syringe in the other some Superman-like figure will come charging out of the sunset on his gleaming white ambulance to boldly go where no one has gone before and save us all. We...

Google "how many times has the government backtracked" and see what comes up seems to be happening just about every week. And the prize for the most incompetent government in our history goes to Boris the clown and his inept puppets.

Your views on how the Tories have handled Coronavirus.

What we need is a proper competent government, something we are sadly lacking at the moment. What we do have is a Dominic Cummings fuckfest who is leading the "sorry bunch of inept obfuscators" (my new favourite word) by the nose, the whole sorry bunch of them couldn't organise a piss-up in a...
