Good luck with the keezer build, think I killed my kegerator yesterday?, drilled through the side to fit a wooden shelf and the fridge seems to go no lower than 6c, dam, so if its dead will convert it to a Fermentation Fridge and probably build a keezer myself
I did mean to but went off doing other things ha ha, Brekegtap 19l refurbed is £55, The homebrew company buy the none refurbed ones for £40 and put a £1.50 seal kit, but they were airtight when delivered but as I had bought the seals changed them anyway
If you want more kegs TheHomeBrewCompany have 3 recon 19l for £155, but I bought 3 19l of their none refurbed ones and 3 seal kits for £1.50 each the kegs were £120 for 3 a bargain and to be honest never needed the new seal, but as I bought them I fitted them but they were ok
I think we bought the same keg kit, mine came with the anti foam 3/16 beer line and like you was pouring great pints but really slow, I read the instructions and it says probably less than 1.5m would be ok but as others have said it advised to chop at 30 to 50 tries, I went straight for the...
I have done the exact same as you, swapped to Cornies and built a two tap Kegerator with the same kit and supplier as you about a month ago, 4 outlet gas manifold and another two taps to add now and 3 other kegs ordered, but best thing I have ever done in my home brewing playtime, trouble is now...
Looked at all their sites and seem good prices, so think I must have already found the bigger players, will be kits for now as was going to go for a Robobrew but even the pre orders are sold out, so thought I would go the LPG Burner route in AG brewing but when you start adding the costs up...
As we are all trying to save a few quid whats the cheapest Home Brew supply shop for Brewing Kits you have found, I stumbled accross brew2bottle and they are always the cheapest and getting orders to me no problem, as an example I wanted to try the Tiny Rebel Cwtch kit, seen it on a few sites...
Small world, it was your comment about the tripe that gave it away lol, Im from Coedpoeth, then moved further up the hill to Bwlchgwyn, now been in Aberdeenshire the last 3 years as I work in Oil & Gas, give my love to the old town
I wantes a shiny FV but then I would have to build a fermentation fridge, so got the cheapo Wilkos Plastic FV and made a waterbath and Aquariam set upm and that has made so much of a deference as it was ok up here in the day but night time temps would stop the yeast working its magic...
Thanks for your tips will research the methods you suggest, as for the temp control I have had good results with the water bath and aquairium heater but never thought I had the space for a fermentation fridge but if I move things about could probably get another tall fridge to convert to a...
