    Sounds like all the co2 was absorbed into the beer, thats why you had zero reading.You need to leave the gas on so the co2 can saturate your beer to your psi setting.

    Couldn't resist having a quick tester, west coast, talus only been in the keg 5 days....just so good.Talus is becoming a firm favourite.

    Pennine, by far my best combo for west coast ipa, citra simcoe mosaic......just works so well together.

    They will be fine, i add hops on day 2 some times if i do a double dry hop.If you are using verdant ipa yeast it can finish in 5 days but still have krausen.

    I think the laid back aproach is what makes it understandable.If it takes an extra 10, 15 mins on the mash dont sweat etc etc. I have done his american stout a couple of times now, and added a few toasted marsh mellows, it never lasted long :) A few drops of vanilla essence in the glass before...

    Kegs are so important for a good neipa "imo" you are 2/3rds there :)

    Lisa, you have a brewzilla, all rounder and kegs right? Just follow gash's video on sabrotooth (use any hops you like) and honestly you will brew a very good neipa.Then you can start messing about with hops etc.

    Ah the strainers are pretty small then.You think if you loaded them with 40g the ball would be loose and not to compact? Edit one of my friends is still on fv buckets, trying to see if it's worth him buying some strainers.

    The only time we ever drink tap water is when it has been filtered for tea/coffee.Bottled or RO for brewing.
