    Use a bottle wand as well and never had any foam produced. Bottled at room temp and direct from fridge. Both methods have produced zero foam.

    Doing 7 for Samhain, we always put a good show on for the local street urchins, on average we get around 300-400 trick or treaters , lots on our street go and decorate etc and we have community groups etc that come up.

    Yeh it was a typical me moment in chef mode after tasting the mix this needs something ahah!( rummaged in the brew supplied box and the rest is hiccstory as the say .. ) plus as I was using a beer yeast I figured I may as well jump in with both feet and crutches.

    Which one of the cheaper type is it , if you have used and it works all be it slow I might have to get a lower budget one as I think my good lady has been efficient and already given Santa my Christmas pressy.

    I do both and detected it in both , was more noticeable in the pressure barrel though

    I tasted the wort before crash cooling and also just prior to batch priming was much more noticeable after fermentation but was their at crash stage , my dad can't taste it but my taste buds are super sensitive to certain flavours ( chef for 20 plus years ) metal of any type is one.
