    Maltose Syrup

Am I getting something wrong or would LME be a type of maltose syrup or just a less refined version?

Covid the *** and the final stage.

If we can't relax measures next week when can we? We are not in a situation when our hospitals could be overwhelmed so why has the government still got the power to infringe on our most basic human rights?

Equipment For Sale NANO brewery for sale, hand built 2K

Sorry but the timing for me couldn't be worse for the next few weeks, with selling a house and opening a pub again with staff issues. I don't think i'd find a space to put the fridges in the next 2 weeks. If you don't find a buyer you could message me again just before you look for/arrange...

I am mainly interested in the 3 brew vessels, the chiller, the pump and the cornies. Would you sell only these? and if so how much would you want? I have a small interest in the fridges but not likely at the value they are to someone that really wants them and have no way to transport them.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I just read that of everyone hospitalised before the end on March only 32 had had a vaccine dose 3 weeks or more before. I won't post the link as its behind a pay subscription wall but they say the full data will be released tomorrow.

What is the smallest three pot system that can replicate big batch processes

From what you say likely 23l would be best, the main issue with small kits is inconsistency as its hard to measure smaller quantities plus the grind of the malt will vary between the top and bottom of the sack and between sacks while it all averages out in a 20 barrel setup.

    Maxi chiller for FV cooling

I used to have a set up with maxi chillers cooling 200l fvs using the python pumps and they worked fine ie they got 200l down to 3C overnight and that was with water not glycol. Sorry I can't give any more helpful info.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

The table I posted is the average of the studies and does show 80% less deaths but with very low certainty, the evidence of it not working at all just isn't there. Anyway there isn't much point in this back and forth so please feel free to have the last word on it or just leave it for now.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

OK we do disagree then as the evidence shows an 80% reduction in deaths and the WHO's take on them was its effect are uncertain. Where do you get the idea we do know?

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I am not trying to say if it works or not just that its a huge failure we don't know.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I agree but its a generic drug so no one has fantail incentive to prove if it works which is my point its a global failure it would cost some one somewhere (governments or WHO) maybe £500,000 to find out if we could save 100's of 1000's of lives but we still don't know.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

Ivermectin is the latest example of the global failure to work out which drugs could have saved possibly millions of lives for very little cost (and a massive saving over locking people down and paying furlough and grants). The WHO's recent study shows so a massive reduction in deaths...

Covid the *** and the final stage.

Sorry if I have got this wrong but your response seems to suggest I am promoting this channel as gospel when I clearly said "I have no idea how true it is" and then pointed out an instance when he got it wrong.

Covid the *** and the final stage.

Before Covid it was a purely economics channel, but the guy who does the covid analysis has a PHD in toxicology. Here's there 1st one Jan 25 2020 when he calls to stop flights from China, later on the 4th Feb the WHO saya there is no reason to stop flights. It's quite boring so I wouldn't...

    Are dry hops over rated?

I like hoppy beers quite bitter so prefer to just have large late (and some early) additions rather than dry hopping or whirlpooling.

    Covid Passports

I don't know, I guess it will vary alot from pub to pub. I suspect since schools going back seemed to only make cases stabilise for a week then fall again I suspect we could go back to no covid restrictions/laws just a bit of advice and there could be only a small or no spike in cases...
