    Tube heaters

Had the same one in the fermenting fridge for last 10 years (insert kiss of death now I've said that!) like Yeastface said maybe condensation/moisture ingress? How do you control the heater?

    What did you brew today?

Brewed a loose "Kwak" clone, which came out a bit low on gravity but still 1062 @18C so should be a nice drop! tweaked the recipe a bit following Gordon Strong's "brewing better beer" recipe for a Belgian triple. Following a fermentation profile of 1 degree increase per day from 17C upto 23C. I...

+1 on the weber kettle and likewise when did they become so expensive! Has anybody used a weber pizza stone? I'm interested in how they perform as a pizza oven.

    Looong fermentation

Had my first recently with a fermentation of 3 weeks for a wheat beer using imperial yeast B44 whiteout. I'd never used this yeast before and had I read t'internet I would have seen it takes longer than normal! That's what I love about brewing , always learning even 10 years in lol. ;)

    Who mills their own grain?

As the title suggests who mills their own grain? Do you notice an increase in efficiency compared to pre-milled grain? I'd also be interested in responses from other Braumiester owners as to what gap they use for the best efficiency . :thumb:

AG#17 Alemans effing oatmeal stout in Braumeister

Good luck, biggest issue I have with mine is hops blocking the outlet and then the plate chiller . Make sure you invest in a good hop filter or hop bags In all honesty if you have a good 3 vessel system and are happy with that I'd save your money. The jury is still out for me, 5 brews in and...

    Christmas Brew AG#15

Hi, Yes I have tested a couple ;-) So my thoughts are ; a little heavy on the ginger and not enough cinnamon etc, Using the honey 15 mins left in boil time has made it a little dry. So next time I brew this I would, put honey straight in fermenter and up the cinnamon and reduce the ginger...

Mine was 41 mph in a 30mph zone  coming into the edge of a hamlet from a 50 mph zone. Van on opposite side of road just over a rise , rushing around to pick kids up so I took the course costs out of their pocket money ;)

American craft beers here in the uk?

Hi Guys, After listening to the Brewing Network and reading BYO magazine I'm really keen to try beers from breweries such as "21st Ammendment" "Gordon Beirsch" and "Russian river" etc I'm really struggling to find a uk supplier of these brews, I found a few places that sell anchor steam and the...

Who do you think you are, Lewis Hamilton?

I have also been on a speed awareness course, whilst I felt cheated after being caught by a van camera the course itself has changed my driving for the better. Shame they don't make it an inducement to getting cheaper insurance if you go on a course by your own free as supposed to hearing about...
