Hi - My Grainfather arrives tomorrow, Im hoping I have the correct stuff to clean but think I might not! I have StarSan and VWP, Ive read VWP is not good for Stainless, and is StarSan not just for sanitising? What would you reccomend, thats cheap, good and safe for the grianfather?

Never made it at the weekend as I discovered on Saturday morning that the Brewstore in Edinburgh is now only open Mon - Fri! On the plus side, I ended up ordering a Grainfather that arrives tomorrow along with the grains for this recipe!

Wait - think I see it - simpsons finest lager malt, it has 0 diastic power, I assume thats incorrect?

I was/am planning to make this Plzensky Prazdroj's Pilsner Urquell clone - Brew Your Own clone of Pilsner Urquell but when I enter the grains into the Brewers Friend recipe calculator it flags up the Diastic Power as only 9 and apparently it should be >30. Should I be worried about this?
