Just heading off out so not got time to read through a 9 page thread at the minute 😳 will try and read at some point but please can you give be us a summary of problems that you have heard to help people out that have one/thinking of getting one
For just over £500 you can get a Brewzilla gen 4 bundle. The gen 4 is the only all in one that I have used so can't compare with any others but seems decent to me

I do something similar but I simply use a large pet feeding bowl sat on a piece of wood, holds the all-rounder stable and allows me to drop it slightly into the space at the bottom Infront of the compressor hump which in turn gives me space for the disconnect and spunding valve. Another option...
Sorry, I replied and then continued reading the thread, if you are short in space then a water bath might not be the best option, as already suggested a heat belt or pad coupled with an inkbird would take up less space and probably be a better option
That's not an FV, it looks like a peco boiler for brewing all grain, I used one similar for years to brew with. If you was looking for a simple way to control fermentation temperature you might be better looking at making a water bath where you would sit your FV in a bigger bucket of water that...
I did BIAB brews in a cheap Peco boiler for years and enjoyed the manual no frills approach. The home brew company had an offer on and I am sure I got a boiler, bag, chiller and a recipe kit for my first brew for less than £100. I have recently upgraded to the new Brewzilla which does have its...
How many hulls did you use? I have only done 2 brews in my brewzilla gen 4, the last one was a stout with oats and I had to turn the pump off because no matter how much I stirred it blocked within minutes of me stopping. I then put the spunding valve on the wrong post so the entire lot ended up...
Just make sure that you don't accidentally put the spunding valve on your floating dip tube and end up with 20l of your Christmas stout all over the floor (Like I did last week) 🤦
Good advice, I have never calibrated mine but it is on my list of things to do 'one day'. At the minute I just use it to keep an eye on the trend in brewfather, when SG stops going down I know it is done, would be nice to have proper readings though
I had read that but I was already boiling so didn't want to blast water into the brew, blowing down it was more in hope than anything else so that I could use the pump to empty it into the fermentor when finished 😁
My old equipment was a peco boiler that I bought as part of a starter kit from the home brew company years ago just to see if I enjoyed all grain brewing, the plan was to upgrade it if I kept it up but it worked perfectly so I kept it and upgraded other parts of my equipment first (fermentation...
Managed to unblock the pump by turning it off and blowing down it.
Important: This is not advice to follow my stupidity by blowing through the pump with a kettle full of boiling wort ... But it did work 🤣
First brew with it today and definitely lessons to be learned, first and foremost to check the bottom screen on the malt pipe before mashing in, it wasn't on properly and now I have grain in my boil and a very slow running pump 🙈
