Yes, they have never sold in big numbers. Partly because of the retail price and also because the margins on them to retailers are pretty crazy low. Big outlay and small profit is not a good start for any business.

I think it is fairly clear that having to replace the entire body is not quite the same as being able to unbolt an element and replace it though :) Sure I imagine most manufacturers "could" sell you a new body and element, if it is still a system they make but the cost is going to be pretty high...

Yes, that is true of most all in one systems. Not the BM or Brewtools though. Naturally these are much more expensive at the start though.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Thankfully I still have one on loan. My wife has made her position clear on me buying one.... It would be a painful option by the sounds of it!

It is pretty small for commercial brews but good enough for group brews. Having more than one smaller system is also a good option for sure.

Thank you, much appreciated. I think the only people who think my videos has bias are the ones that have it themselves and my video did not suit them. I think all in one systems have their place and for me they suit my situation. I still brew much beer by hand though for test batches.

Yes, quite true. I have a video on split wort brewing, you can actually make a crazy amount of styles from the same grain bill by using different yeast and cold side additions.

Thank you. I guess it just depends on personal situation at the end of the day. Perhaps systems like this suit people that brew together socially or those that mostly brew the same beer often and want to brew less.
